Prayer

Let us pray with you

Whatever you are carrying today, you do not have to carry it alone. Send a prayer request and it will be read and prayed over personally. There is no situation too small, and none too heavy.

Prayer is not a ritual, and it is not a special religious frequency you have to find. It is simply talking to God, the God who, through Jesus, is now your Father. You do not need the right words or a clean heart first. You can come to Him with confidence, because Christ has already secured your welcome.

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." — Hebrews 4:16 (BSB)

So be honest with Him. He already knows your thoughts, and He is not afraid of them. If you are anxious, bring Him the anxiety. He promises something better than a guarantee that everything will go your way: a peace that does not match your circumstances.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:6–7 (BSB)

How it works

Email your request to prayer@truthandfoundation.org. Share as much or as little as you wish. Your request is held in confidence, read by a real person, and brought before the Lord in prayer. If you would like a reply, just say so and we will write back.

Pray with us

Prayer is not the small part of this work. It is the foundation of it. If you are a believer and want to partner with what is happening here, the most meaningful thing you can do is pray:

You are welcome here

If you have never prayed before and do not know where to start, that is alright. Begin simply, in your own words, and pour out your heart to Him honestly. He is not far off, and He is not waiting for the right words. If you would like someone to pray with you or point you to the next step, reach out anytime.

"Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge." — Psalm 62:8 (BSB)
